General FAQ
Bookings are made easily through our online booking system on our website. Simply click the “Check Availability” button and follow the prompts. You will be directed to create your Wag Away Stayz account, where you can tell us everything we need to know about your dog, and ensure we have all your up-to-date contact details. You can then select your preferred boarding or daycare days, and add on any extra services you wish to spoil your dog while you are away!

In order to maintain a calm kennel environment, we have strict opening hours as detailed below. If you require drop-off or collection outside of these hours, please enquire about our pick up and drop off taxi services. Customers arriving outside of these hours will be met with refusal.
Monday-Friday 8am-10am / 4pm-6pm
Saturday 8am-10am
Sunday and Select Public Holidays 3pm-5pm
(Closed Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day)
Yes, we understand it is important for pet parents to know where their pets are staying. Tours are available by appointment or in our afternoon opening hours Monday-Friday.
Boarding Rate is $32 per dog per day.
Doggy Daycare is $25 per dog per day.
Price on application for 3+ dogs from the same family.
We do offer a long-term discount for stays over 1 month.
We offer a discount for regular FIFO fidos.
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your reservation, please notify us at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled check-in date.
Note: No refunds will be given for early check-outs.

Supervised Playtime & Socialisation

Our team actively supervises all playtime, encouraging positive interactions and ensuring everyone is having a good time.”
Structured Activities & Enrichment
“To keep things interesting and mentally stimulating, we incorporate structured activities throughout the day. This might include interactive games, puzzle toys that encourage problem-solving, or even basic command reinforcement. These activities help to engage their minds and prevent boredom.”
Midday Rest & Relaxation

Afternoon Play & Exploration

Snack Time
“Depending on owner preferences and any dietary requirements, we can administer provided snacks during the afternoon. This provides a little energy boost for the afternoon’s activities.”
Wind-Down & Departure Preparations
“As the day begins to wind down, we ensure the dogs have a calm and comfortable transition back to their owners. This might involve some gentle cuddles and quiet time before it’s time to go home, happy, tired and fulfilled from their day of fun at Wag Away Stayz!
We group dogs for playtime based on size, energy level, age, and play style. Our experienced daycare program ensures safe introductions, with no incidents so far.
Our daycare is set in a natural setting and our play yards are outdoors, however shaded by lovely trees. We do have some undercover areas for activities in inclement weather.
We supervise all cross-family dog interactions and have multiple play yards for simultaneous play. Dogs will enjoy plenty of love and interaction, eager to join daycare each morning.
Daycare drop off hours are strictly between 7am-10am and pick-up is from 4pm-6pm. Half days are not available.
Boarding FAQ
Our boarding package is all inclusive, we provide all the bedding, toys, food your pet needs. We prefer to utilise our own supplies for cleanliness and efficiency, however you are permitted to bring along a blanket from home or some toys (no tennis balls, frayed toys, rope toys or any choking hazards)
All our kennels are fitted out with raised trampoline beds and plush fluffy blankets. For hygiene reasons we prefer to use our own bedding which is washed regularly. We will use our own stainless steel food bowls, cleaned daily.
All our kennels are fitted with heat lamps for those cooler nights, and coolers for summer days. All dogs have their own safe, secure kennel and they will not have to share with other dogs from other families, even when we are busy!
At Wag Away Stayz we believe in “more play, while they stay!”
Each morning dogs will go out to toilet and stretch their legs at 6am, followed by breakfast and playtime. Dogs will have a rest and opportunity to recharge during the middle of the day, followed by an afternoon of playtime, exercise and enrichment. Dogs will be tucked in and settled in for the night around 6pm. We find after a fun-filled day, dogs settle down and sleep well – recharging for the adventures that await tomorrow!
Social dogs may be paired with other compatible dogs, upon owners approval. We will ask you if your dog is social upon check-in.
We have a number of enrichment activities available to enhance your dog’s stay, including:
- Enrichment Hour (puzzles, toys and stuffed treat toys)

- Sniffari and sensory garden
- Training Games
- Bubbles
- Barkuterie Boards and Ala-Bark Menu options
- Water play
Whilst we have a great selection of toys and treats, you may bring your own if you prefer. We just ask no items which may pose a choking hazard (tennis balls, frayed or damaged toys, rope toys, bones, rawhides)
Whilst we do have cameras on the property, these are not publically accessible. We do endeavor to provide daily updates on your pet through our Social Media pages. Customers are always welcome to call or message to check on their dog and we will happily provide an update.
We have two Board and Train Packages available,
- 7-Day Mini Manners Course, perfect for addressing specific behaviour issues and establishing basic obedience. A great option to jump start your dogs training journey. Priced at $900
- 14-Day Transformation Package. Our most comprehensive program is designed to address a wide range of behavioural issues and create a truly well-behaved dog.
All packages are custom-designed for your dog and catered to their specific training struggles.

Health and Safety FAQ
We require a current C5 vaccination certificate (or equivalent) for entry. The C5 vaccination provides protection against distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza, and Bordetella (kennel cough). All vaccinations must be completed at least 14 days prior to the commencement of boarding
No. We will assess the dogs during there stay and provide feedback to you on their suitability for our facility.
Dogs are introduced slowly and carefully, relying on our extensive experience in pairing dogs for safe interactions. All playtime is supervised, and we are trained to interpret dog body language and intervene before trouble occurs. We live on site, so we are always close by to check on our doggy guests.
We maintain stringent cleaning protocols and have never had an issue with fleas or ticks.
All pets will be checked over on admission, and any pets with obvious infestations will be refused entry.
We recommend all dogs coming into care be current with flea, tick and worming protocol. Any pet found to have a fleas/ticks or worms will be treated at cost to the owner.
Yes, medications are administered at no extra cost.
Medication must be provided in its original Veterinary Labelled containers with clear instructions for administration. No insulin dependent animals will be accepted into boarding due to the effect of stress on insulin levels.
For the well-being of all pets boarding at Wag Away Stayz, the following veterinary care policy is in place:
Owner Liability
Owners will be liable for all costs associated with veterinary care, whether it is for emergency or routine treatments. This includes, but is not limited to, medical examinations, treatments, medications, and any required follow-up care.
Emergency Situations
In the event of an emergency, Wag Away Stayz will act in the best interest of the pet. Immediate medical attention will be sought from a qualified veterinarian. Efforts will be made to contact the owner as soon as possible. If the owner is not contactable, the decision of the attending veterinarian will be final and binding, and you agree to reimburse Wag Away Stayz for all costs associated with such care prior to collecting your pet.
Less Serious Illness or Injury
For less serious illnesses or injuries, Wag Away Stayz will attempt to contact the owner or the provided emergency contact for authorisation to seek medical attention. It is essential that owners provide up-to-date contact information and ensure that designated emergency contacts are aware of their responsibilities.
