Welcome to Wag Away Stayz! We’re Lauren and Ashley, the proud owners and operators of this haven for your beloved pets in Canning Vale, Western Australia. For us, caring for animals isn’t just a business – it’s a lifelong passion and a way of life. Living right here on-site allows us to provide a truly safe, secure, and stress-free environment for every dog in our care, ensuring they receive the attention and comfort they deserve around the clock.

With over 20 years of combined experience in the pet care industry, we bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of canine needs to Wag Away Stayz. This extensive background has equipped us with the skills and insights necessary to provide exceptional boarding and daycare services, tailored to the individual personality and requirements of each dog entrusted to us.

Registered Breeders and Rescue Advocates

Our love for dogs extends far beyond our professional services. We are registered breeders of Boxer Dogs, a breed close to our hearts, and we are deeply involved in Boxer Rescue Western Australia. This hands-on experience with breeding and rescue has given us invaluable insights into canine behaviour, health, and welfare across a wide range of temperaments and backgrounds. Our commitment to the rescue community reflects our dedication to ensuring all dogs have the opportunity for a happy and fulfilling life.

Champions in the Show Ring, Family at Home

Our involvement in the dog world also includes actively participating in dog showing. Over the years, we’ve proudly achieved numerous Champion titles with our Boxers. However, while we appreciate the discipline and dedication of the show ring, our dogs are first and foremost cherished members of our family. They are the inspiration behind Wag Away Stayz, and we treat every dog in our care with the same love and attention we give our own.”

Active in Dog Sports: A Testament to Our Training Expertise

Our passion for canine companionship extends to the exciting world of dog sports. We actively train and successfully compete in a variety of disciplines, including obedience, agility, rally-o, scentwork, tracking, sledding, and even dances with dogs! This hands-on experience in training and working with dogs in diverse activities further enhances our understanding of their capabilities and strengthens our bond with them.

Lauren: Experienced and Accredited Dog Trainer

Adding another layer of expertise to Wag Away Stayz, Lauren is an experienced and accredited dog trainer. Her qualifications and in-depth knowledge of positive reinforcement training methods ensure that we can provide guidance and support for your dog’s behavioural needs, whether through our Board and Train programs or simply through consistent and positive interactions during their stay.
